Does something become impure without a visible a sign of impurity?
Question
My baby vomitted more than mouthful at night. She also touched some vomit with her hand. I didnt wash her at that time. I dried her with tissues and changed her clothes. She frequently takes her hands in her mouth. If she touches other objects after putting her hands in her mouth would those objects become impure even if there is no visible sign of impurity on them.
Answer
n the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
If there is no sign of impurity on the objects touched by the baby, the objects will be pure.

(والنجاسة إذا أصابت المرآة أو السيف اكتفي بمسحهما) بما يزول به أثرها ومثلهما كل ثقيل لا مسام له؛ كزجاج وعظم وآنية مدهونة وظفر، لأنه لا يداخله النجاسة؛ وما على ظاهره يزول بالمسح
