Please tell me in case I die how will my 401K fund be distributed to my family? My parents are alive Alhamdolillah and I have a wife and one son and one daughter.

Besides I also have 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Thanking you in anticipation.

Answer

We cannot comment on the 401K fund as we have no knowledge of the fund. However, upon your demise, if you do not have parents, your estate will be distributed into 24 equal shares. The wife will inherit 3 shares, the son 14 shares and the daughter 7 shares. and Allah Ta'ala Knows Best Mufti Ebrahim Desai FATWA DEPT.
