Can I provide software testing service to an insurance company?
Question
A company provides Software Testing Services want hire me as a software test engineer but after hiring he want to place me to test the software of an insurance company for 1 year after that company may or may not place me to some other organization for software testing. Is it halal for me to accept this offer and work for this company?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
In order for us to advise you, inform us of the functions of testing the insurance software. Is that software designed only for insurance or can it be used for some other purposes?
Will you have to make some recommendations to the software company to be able to use the software? If so, what would those recommendations be?
