Question
1. After giving birth to child,during 40 days,can a woman take bath?
2. What about istinjaa?
3. What about cleanliness of private parts?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh
It is permissible for a woman in the state of Nifaas to take a bath, make Istinjaa and cleanse the private parts. Making Istinjaa and cleansing the private parts are compulsory all the time.
