Is using tasbeeh (Musbaha) bidah? Also, Hijab infront of Non-Muslim females, joining Shadhilli Tariqa, Umm Al-Qura University.
Question
1)Wahabbis say that a Musbaha is bida what can we say to justify the use of a musbaha or tasbeeh. 2) Is it required for Muslim females to wear a hijab infront of non-Muslim females? 3) What are your views on joining a Tariqa particularly the Shadhilli Tariqa. 4)Also do you have any information on Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah. What is your oppinion on it. Thank you so much for all your help.
Answer
1. The idea is to count the Dhikr. Be it counted with the fingers or with
beads, both are permissible. It is recorded in Abu-Dawood Shareef that some
Sahaaba (Radhiallaahu Anhu) had beads (seeds) which they used to use to
count Dhikr.
2. It it is not necessary for Muslim females to wear Hijaab in front of
non-Muslim females.
