grace; Do they need to disclose this to a potential spouse? & at what
stage?

Answer

In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is advisable to do so in order to avoid accusations of non-transparency and complications in the future.
