Can I appoint myself as the vice president of a Masjid?

Can you please tell me the ruling on if is permissible for a brother on the kisses to appoint his self to a position of a vice president of a Masjid?

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Your query is unclear. We do not understand what you mean by “… brother on the kisses…”. In order for us to advise you, we require clarity weather you disagree with the appointment of the brother or not? If so, why?
