Working as a civil engineer
Question
I want to inquire that if I work at Qatar media Corporation, and pay my services as a civil engineer which would includes construction of their projects sucg as Olympic stadiums, then is it permissible for me to work. An early reply would be highly appreciated.
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Your employment by Qatar Media Corporation as an engineer to construct an Olympic stadium is permissible. Your income will be halal. The sin of the incorrect use of the stadium will rest upon the people committing the sins or arranging sinful programs.[1]

و قال ابن عابدين: (قوله وجاز تعمير كنيسة) قال في الخانية: ولو آجر نفسه ليعمل في الكنيسة ويعمرها لا بأس به لأنه لا معصية في عين العمل

ولو استأجر الذمي مسلما ليبني له بيعة أو كنيسة جاز ويطيب له الأجر .كذا في المحيط .
