Can the same surahs be read in mulriple raka'ats?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is undesirable to repeat one Surah in different rakats of fardh salah.[1] It is permissible to repeat the same Surah in different rakats of sunnah and nafl salah.[2]

و يكره تكرار السورة في ركعة واحدة من الفرض..وقيد بالفرض لأنه لا يكره التكرار في النفل لأن شأنه أوسع لأنه صلى الله عليه و سلم قام إلى الصباح بآية واحدة يكررها في تهجده

وَلَا بَأْسَ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ سُورَةً فِي الْأُولَى، ثُمَّ يُعِيدَهَا فِي الثَّانِيَةِ لِمَا رُوِيَ أَنَّهُ - عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ - «قَرَأَ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى مِنْ الْمَغْرِبِ إذَا زُلْزِلَتْ الْأَرْضُ، ثُمَّ قَامَ وَقَرَأَهَا فِي الثَّانِيَةِ»..
