How did Allah create this world?
Question
Iam a student in taleemuddeen someone has got an assignment on how did Allah create this world please answer.
Answer
Allah Ta'ala states, 'And His throne was upon the water.' (11:7)
Allah Ta'ala states, 'And we made from water everything in which there is
life.' (21:30). In a Hadith narrated by Imraan ibn Husain (Radhiallaahu
Anhu), Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) was asked concerning the
beginning of creation. Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) replied,
'Before Allah, there was nothing and Allah's throne was upon water. Then
Allah Ta'ala created the heavens and the earth and wrote down in the
preserved Tablet the predestination of everything.' (Mishkaat pg.506;
Qadeemi)
