Is it necessary to perform Tawaf whenever I visit Makkah? Is their any obligation if I used to visit Makkah without performing tawaf?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

If you go to Makkah with the intention of Hajj or Umrah, then it will be necessary (wajib) for you to don the ihram and if you go to Makkah for any other reason besides Hajj and Umrah, then making tawaf is not compulsory upon you. [1]
