Is Tawaaf-e-widaa necessary in Umrah?
Question
My father visited Makkah Muqarramah to perfom his Umrah some time back. Alhamdolillah he was able to do so. However, because sudden health problem, he went back to India without performing Tawaf-e-Wida.
Just wanted to know that does it was necessary for him to perform Tawaf-e-Wida before leaving Makkah. If it is so then please let me know what will be the kaffara for that.
Please also let me know that the person who is working in Jeddah and every year he is going to his native country during vacation and again comes back to join his work. Is it necesaary for him to perform Tawaf-e-Wida everytime before leaving Jeddah.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Tawaaf-e- widaa is only performed in Hajj and not in Umrah .[1]

وأما واجباتها فشيئان : السعي بين الصفا والمروة ، والحلق أو التقصير .
فأما طواف الصدر فلا يجب على المعتمر. (بدائع الصنائع ج 3 ص 305 دار الكتب العلمية)
طواف الوداع.....(ولا يجب علي المعتمر) أي ولو كان آفاقيا. ( حاشية ارشاد الساري الى مناسك الملا على القاري ص355)
أفاد وجوبه على كل حاج آفاقي مفرد أو متمتع أو قارن بشرط كونه مدركا مكلفا غير معذور فلا يجب على المكي ، ولا على المعتمر مطلقا ، وفائت الحج والمحصر ( رد المحتار ج 2 ص 523 ايج ايم سعيد)
فاذا طاف وسعى وحلق يخرج عن احرام العمرة (فتاوى الهنديه ج 1 ص 237 مكتبة الرشيديه)
