Salat Salam before Iqamat

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

یہ عمل نہ قرآن کریم سے ثابت ہے، نہ سنتِ رسول سے، نہ خلفاء راشدین سے، نہ دیگر صحابہ کرام سے اور نہ مجتھدین کے فقہ سے۔  یہ عمل بدعت ہے لہذا اسکو ترک کرنا ضروری ہے۔

This practice is not proven through the Quran, the Sunnah, the companions of the Nabi (Sallahu Alaihi Wasallam), or from the Mujtahideen (Jurists). Therefore, this practice is an innovation. It is necessary to abstain from such a practice.[1]
