If one is listning to a lecture via live audio streaming should the hands be lifted when duaa is being made?

Question

If one is listning to a lecture via live audio streaming should the hands be lifted when duaa is being made?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The general Adab (etiquette) of Du'a is to lift the hands. It is therefore advisable to lift the hands when listening to a live audio Du'a.
