Can we put our photographs on the LinkedIn Portal?
Question
Can we put our photographs on LinkedIn as it is a portalwhich helps in finding jobs? We put our printed photographs on all job applications. Linked in is a similar thing and some companies seek job applications through linkedIn.
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is not permissible for you to post your photograph on LinkedIn. .[i] [ii] If you need to make an application for a job, you may create a profile on LinkedIn without posting your photograph.
