Can Sura Yaseen be dedicated in memory of a dead person or Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) or can I recite it for myself?

Answer

One may perform acts of virtue, for example, giving charity, reciting the Qur'aan, Yaseen, etc. with the intention of gifting the reward to the deceased.

Insha Allah, the deceased will benefit by the gift.
