Keeping the name Muhammadah

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

Muhammad means a person who is praiseworthy and/or deserving of praise. I was unable to find its feminine version being used amongst the Arabs. However, the general rules of Arabic permit a feminine version. Accordingly, it is permissible for a lady to keep the name Muhammadah.
