Is it prohibited to have sexual intercourse on the day of Eid etc?
Question
I want to know if there is any bar from having intercourse with my wife in the day of Eid, Shabbe Baraat and Shabbe Qadar.
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is permissible for a couple to have sexual intercourse on the days of Eid, shabbe qadar and shabbe barā’at unless the woman is on her period or experiencing lochia (post-natal bleeding- nifās)[1].
