Can a man and woman eat, drink and cook when they slept together and need a ghusl?
Question
Can a man and woman eat, drink and cook when they slept together and need a ghusl?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is permissible to eat, drink and cook after having intimate relations prior to taking a ghusl (ritual bath). However, it will be better if somebody washes his mouth and hands prior to consuming anything.[i]
It will not be permissible for a person in janābah (ritual impurity) to[ii]:
1) Perform salāh
2) Recite an āyah of the Qur῾ān
3) Touch the Qur῾ān
4) Enter the masjid
5) Perfrom tawāf (circumambulation of the ka῾bah)

وَلَا باس لِلْجُنُبِ أَنْ يَنَامَ وَيُعَاوِدَ أَهْلَهُ قبل أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ وأن تَوَضَّأَ فَحَسَنٌ وأن أَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ أو يَشْرَبَ فَيَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَتَمَضْمَضَ وَيَغْسِلَ يَدَيْهِ كَذَا في السِّرَاجِ الْوَهَّاجِ (ج 1 ص 16 مكتبة رشيدية)
وفي غنية المتملي في شرح منية المصلي
ويستحب أن يغسل يديه وفاه إذا أراد أن يأكل أو يشرب وإن تركه فلا بأس به (ص 56 مكتبة رشيدية)
وكذا في فتاوى محمودية ج 5 ص 151 إدارة الفاروق
وكذا في أحسن الفتاوى ج 2 ص 36 أيج ايم سعيد

ويحرم بالجنابة خمسة أشياء:
1 - الصلاة. 2 - وقراءة آية من القرآن.
3 - ومسها إلا بغلاف. 4 - ودخول مسجد. 5 - والطواف. (ص 39 المكتبة العصرية)
