If a bedroom wall and perhaps the carpet has some semen stains on it which are difficult to remove, is it fine to pray in such a room? What if you've already prayed in this room? The actual place where you put the prayer mat is clean.

If a bedroom wall and perhaps the carpet has some semen stains on it which are difficult to remove, is it fine to pray in such a room? What if you've already prayed in this room? The actual place where you put the prayer mat is clean. Jazakallah Khair.

Answer

In the name of Allāh, Most Gracious, Most Merciful


Assalāmu ῾alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi Wabarakātuh

In principle, the salah will be valid if it is offered on a clean (pure) area. Therefore, your salah was valid. In future offer your salah on the clean praying mat. However, it is advisable to clean those areas that has najasah on it.
