A female been an house wife and collects the pocket money given by her husband, does she needs to pay zakat on this amount. The pocket money is amount to 2 lakh taka.

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

After deducting her expenses, if she has more than the value of nisāb (the minimum amount required to necessitate zakāh), then she will have to pay zakāh on the money she is collecting.
