If you are a Shāfi'ī, we suggest you keep a close contact with a local Shāfi'ī scholar who you can refer to with your questions, such as this one. It is best if questions related to Shāfi'ī fiqh are answered by Shāfi'ī scholars as they know all the intricacies of their madhhab.
