As salamu alaikum, Imam Sahib, please tell me how can we invite people to Islam?

In surah Nahl, Allah Taala says, %0D%0ACall towards the path of your Rabb with wisdom and good advises. Inviting %0D%0Atowards Allah was the duty of all the prophets and requires special skills %0D%0Ain order to be efficient and successful. The purpose is not just to inform %0D%0Abut to convince people and make them practice. Often people not having the %0D%0Anecessary skills of dawah have created resentment of Islam in the hearts of %0D%0Amany people thus defeating and harming the actual course of of Islam. In %0D%0Aorder to be efficient and successful. hereunder are some points.%0D%0A1. Win the confidence of the person by showing him care and affection.%0D%0A%0D%0A2. Assist him whenever required and possible.%0D%0A%0D%0A3. Embrace oppurtune moments and discuss about Islam and its beauties.%0D%0A%0D%0A4. Discuss the sublime character of our beloved prophet (saw) and his %0D%0Aillustrious companions. (ra)%0D%0A%0D%0A5. Do not discuss or answer anything without sufficient knowledge.%0D%0A%0D%0A6. Refer to reliable Ulama who know the art of dawah and will be able to %0D%0Aprovide fulfilling answers to any querries about Islam.%0D%0A%0D%0A7. Invite to Islamic functions which do not have unislamic practices, for %0D%0Aexample, intermingling of sexes etc.%0D%0A%0D%0A8. Be alert and enbrace opportunities.%0D%0A%0D%0A9. Be patient.%0D%0A%0D%0A10. Make dua to Allah for the persons guidance and hidayat.%0D%0A%0D%0AAnd Allah Ta'ala knows best%0D%0A%0D%0AMufti E. Desai%0D%0A
