Regarding Life insurance & Disability Insurance

Question

Respected Mufti Sahib, My employer offers life insurance and disability insurance benefits. I am not sure if as a Muslim, I should enroll in such policies? Please assist me. Jazakallah!

Answer

It is not permissable to take out any conventional insurance policy as it
has elementts of interesst and gambling in it.
