Can my wife shorten her hair?

Question

Thanks for all the efforts done from your goodselves in order to help the Deen Deenul Islam, i would like to ask you wheather my wife can shorten her hairs such as buffcut ect and can i give her instruction to do so and is this allowable in shariah and what r the limitations in islam.

It is not permissible for a woman to cut or trim her hair.
