Is fasting on Monday and Thursday Sunnah?....How long can a muslim man stay away from his wife?

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

1. It is sunnah to fast on Mondays and Thursday s.
2. A husband may stay away from his wife for any period of time with mutual agreement. However it is advisable that a husband should not stay away from his wife for more than four months.
