Please tell me whether I have to shave my private part

Question

Please tell me whether I have to shave my private part shaft as there are hairs growing on it? I have noticed these hairs since the past 4 years or so but have'nt shaved them at all uptill now. I know the shaving areas for men in Islam but am not sure whether these include shaving hair on the penis shaft? Please answer my this query and kindly tell me whether i can shave the hairs on private part shaft or can i cut them off with a pair of scissors?

Answer

It is not necessary to remove the strands of hair on the shaft. You may remove the hair if you wish to.
