As a Hanafi, can a sister's parents marry her off without her permission just so that I couldn't marry her? And as a Hanafi, Can she marry without her parents consent? I am also a Hanafi.

Question

I am a Hannafi and I want to marry a Hannafi. I am a African American and she is Paki. As a Hannafi, can her parents marry her off without her permission just so that I couldn't marry her? And as a Hannafi, Can she marry without her parents consent?

Answer

It is not permissible for parents to get their adult (matured) daughter
married without her consent. The marriage will be null and void.
