can u please explain to me the reason why my period is now considered to be 7 days and not 10 days

jazakoumoullahu khairan for the answer about the menses once more.....can u please explain to me the reason why my period is now considered to be 7 days and not 10 days?....i would like to understand the ruling so inshallah i would be able to apply it next time without asking...thanx a lot for ur help....

Answer

The ruling is based on your previous habit of 7 days red discharge and the yellow discharge going beyond 10 days.
