What is the fiqhi ruling on going to see magicians and fortune-tellers? Is it haraam to use foul language or is it makruh?

1. It is Haraam to consult a fortune teller or a magician. Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, 'He who visits a fortune-teller, his Salaat for fourty days will not be accepted.' (Muslim). The same rule is for a magician.

2. Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) is reported to have said to Aaisha (Radhiallaahu Anha), 'Do not indulge in indecent talk, for Allah does not like an indecent person.' (Muslim). Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) says, 'Reviling (swearing), the use of obscene words is sinning.' (Muslim)
