Are Muslim businesses obliged to accept returns from customers ?

Answer

They are not obliged, but are encouraged to do so.

The Hadith mentions, ?Whoever accepts a return from a Muslim, Allah will forgive that person?s sins on the day of Qiyaamat.? (Abu Dawud)
