I've named my newly born 1st baby ' Sarah Fatima bine-e-Omer '(she born on23rd of June'04), is this a suitable name for her and one more thing is there any kind of (ilm-e-'addad) for naming a child and what is the right procedure for naming a child?
Answer
This name is acceptable, but it should be "bint Omer" not "bin Omer", if her fathers name is Omer.
There is no procedure for naming the child, the parents should agree on a name and call the child by that name.
