I have heard prople say that during Prophet Mohammad's time these lines were not a part of azaan-e- fajar"as-salatu-khair um minan naum".Is this true?? And 2) Please give special suplications or prayers that can be offered at Shab-e-barat. Jazak-Allah Khair

Answer

It was included as part of the Adhaan in the Fajr in the time of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam). Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) instructed Hadhrat Bilaal (Radhiallaahu Anhu) to include this portion in the Adhaan of Fajr Salaat. This is established in numerous Ahaadith. (Tahtawi pg.15)
