1.Is dancing allowed on weddings? 2.Is it permissable for muslims to hold a mehndi function?

Answer

1. ?Islaamic Wedding? refer attached.

2. Mehndi functions is a common practice amongst the people of the Indo-pak origin. It is a baseless and an act of Bid?ah (innovation). Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) mentioned grave warnings for those who innovate in Deen. These function promote a lot of un-Islamic factors, e.g. intermingling of the sexes, music, etc. A Muslim should not hold or attend such functions.
