Can I go for haj if i have a mortage bond as my only debt ?

Question

My dad passed away about a month ago and i would like to take my mom and sisters for Haj. I have been paying extra every month into my revolving mortage bond

Answer

At the outset, we advise that you should endervour to clear the bond as quick as possible. It is permissible for you to go for Hajj while you endervour to clear your bond.
