can we send Darood Shareef to Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) by praying to Allah taalaa that He deliver our gift to HIs beloved Prophet.

Answer

In the recitation of the Durood, one is actually requesting Allah to send His choicest blessings upon Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam).
