A musalli joined the salaat while the Imam was coming up from ruku, how does the musalli complete his namaaz?

Question

Does the musalli have to read this rakaat as a missed rakaat?

Answer

In order for a Musalli (follower) to get the Rakaat, he must join the Imaam
in Ruku. If the Imaam finished the Ruku and was coming to the Qawma
position, the Musalli has missed that Rakaat. He must make up for that
Rakaat after the Imaam completes his Salaat.
