Question
divorce...i have been married for over 5 years and i live in america and husband is living in another country, i dont know where exactly he is. we have never lived together and never had a marriage. it has just been in name. he is never supported me in anyway. i want a divorce but he will not issue one out of spite. im so worried and depressed. after speaking to family elders they have agreed that a divorce is the only way forward. please advise me and tell me a duaa i can recite that will allow me to get a divorce quickly.
Answer
Perform Salaatul Haajat and make Du?aa that: ?O Allah, make my husband a means of honour and success for me and provide the means for removing my difficulties.? Together with this recite Verse 74 of Surah Furqaan (from Rabbanaa hab lanaa min azwaajinaa?) and Verse 24 of Surah Qasas (from Rabbi inni lima anzalta Ilayya?).
