Hadhrat Muaz bin Jabal (Radhiallaahu %C1nhu) narrates that once Rasulullah (Sallallaahu %C1layhi Wasallam) did not see him for the Jumu?ah Salaat. When Rasulullah (Sallallaahu %C1layhi Wasallam) completed the Jumu?ah Salaat he visited Muaz saying, ?O Mu%E1z! What is it that I did not see you for Jumu?ah??. He said, ?O Rasulullah (Sallallaahu %C1layhi Wasallam) I am owing a Yahoodi (Jew) an Awqiya (equivalent to forty Dirhams) of silver, and when I came out (for Jumu?ah) he held me back.%0D%0A%0D%0ARasulullah (Sallallaahu %C1layhi Wasallam) said, ?O Mu%E1z! Should I not teach you a Du%E1 that even if you were indebted the measure of mount Sabar (mountain in Yemen), then Allah Ta%E3la will overcome that (debt) for you. O Mu%E1z! Make this Du%E1:%0D%0A%0D%0AAllaahumma maalikal mulki. Tu-u-til mulka man-tashaa-u wa tanzi?ul mulka min-man tashaa-u wa tu-?izzu man tashaa-u wa tudhillu man tashaa-u, biyadikal khayr, innaka alaa kulli shay-in qadeer. Tuwlijul-layla fin-nahaar, wa tuwlijun nahaar fil-layli, wa tukhrijul hay minal mayyit, wa tukhrijul mayyit minal hay wa tarzuq man tashaa-u bi ghayr hisaab. Yaa rahmaanad-dunyaa wal aakhirat wa raheemahumaa, tu-?u-twiy man tashaa-u minhumaa wa tamna?a man tashaa-u, irhamniy rahmatan tughniniy bihaa an rahmatan min siwaaka.%0D%0A%0D%0Aand Allah Ta'ala Knows Best%0D%0A%0D%0AMufti Ebrahim Desai
