Do you study to become a qaadhi...and under who would you study?

Question

U have explained to me the difference between a mufti and qaadhi.My next question is,are there any qaadhi's left in the world, and how would one become a qaadhi??

Answer

A person wishing to become a Qaadhi studies under a Qaadhi.

There are Qaadhis in some parts of the world, for example, in Makkah Mukarramah and Madinah Munawwarah.
