What is the hanafi ruling regarding the breaking of wudhu if a female shop assistant touches your hand when giving you change?

Answer

Your Wudhu will not break. However, this should be totally avoided. Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) has mentioned: Whosoever touches the palm of a strange woman (who he is allowed to marry), a burning ember will be placed on his palm on the day of judgment. (Hidaaya vol.4 pg.485)
