Question

I'm confused: Do we close our eyes when we're down in sujud, or leave them open, or does it matter? Jazakum'Allahu khair.

Answer

It is Mustahabb to have the eyes open and look at the tip of the nose in Sajdah. (Shaami vol.1 pg.478; HM Saeed)
