I am working as Researcher in laboratory where they treat rats with alcohol (Ethanol) and study its effects on disease. It involves handing alcohol and writing about harms of alcohol for human beings. Is it Halal for me to work there?

It is permissible for you to work as a researcher of alcohol in the laboratory.
