1. there is a person who has a proper beard but he sits in the class room with his girl friends. is he a fasiq; and do i need to repeat the salaat when he is imaam? 2. do i need permission from my parents before destroying the idols (decoration pieces) and pictures in the house? 3. a friend says that according to fiqh-e-hanfia, the salaat breaks when a person laughs loudly. is it true?
Answer
1. It is Haraam for strange men to have any contact with strange women. Salaat behind such a person will be Makrooh. If one read Salaat behind such a person, the Salaat will be valid.
2. We suggest you use wisdom and diplomacy in advising your parents the consequences of having such pictures. Thereafter, with their consent remove the pictures together with taking their Du?aas and blessings.
3. Yes, it is true. According to the Hanafi Madhab laughing aloud in Salaat breaks the Wudhu and Salaat.
