Is music haram, because it has lies in it, or because of the instruments,or because you get carried away, but is music about life or music that doesn't have any love in it haram?

Answer

Music is expressly prohibited in many Ahaadith. Among the dominant purposes of our beloved Prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) was to destroy musical
instruments. (Mishkat vol.2). Somewhere on ask-imam.com search 'Music' (without quotes)
