Question
Me and My wife try to follow the commandments of Allah and the Sunnah of Rasool (SAW) in the best possible ways we can. But on the eve of Jummua tul Widaa we had sex during her perioods.. She was in her fourth day of her period and the bleeding stopped, but usually her bleeding stops the six or seventh day. Our sexual life is usually very dull I.e my wife says? no? most of the time when I approach her, but we both are stunned of what happened the other night. We have never done this before, and now we fear ALLAH!. Please tell us what can we do to repent. Is ther a kufaraa.
Answer
Both of you should read two Rakaats of Nafl Salaat, known as Salaat-ul-Tawbah, then sincerely repent for this sin and make a definite resolution never to repeat the same, and to be more cautious in future.
It is beneficial to also give what you can easily afford in charity.
