I have a 5 year old daughter. Is it permissible for me to cut her hair to shoulder length?

Question

Her hair currently stretches all the way to her lower back.

Answer

It is not permissible to cut the hair of a female for no valid reason in Shari'ah. Somewhere on this site, search 'Women cut their hair' (without
quotes).
