Is it allowed to send/receive religious mails and information to a gayar mahram ?

Any sort of contacts(mail, phone) in terms of personal matters with gayar mahram is prohibited. But Is the following allowed ? I wish a good islamic life for a gayar mahram, whom i can't marry. But i would like to send/forward religious mails which would benefit. Sending mails just for the sake of good Islamic life. What else i can do for the better life of that non-mahram according to sharia ? Expecting your reply.
