Mubarak Baal and Salami gatherings

Question

What is the shariah ruling regarding people who perform mubarak bal(they have the hair of nabi(saw))and they read naats and salami while it is open to all

Answer

The ceremonies held nowadays in respect of the Mubaarak Baal is a Bid'ah (innovation) and should be avoided. Yes, respect for the hair should be shown but not in the manner in vogue.
