Adopting a New Born Child

Question

I'm 24 Yrs Girl, Living independently a working in a good Company & I'm not interested in getting married since there are several reason's. But I would love to have a child, So I was planning to adopt a new born child. So could you please guide me if it is wrong to adopt a child without getting married. This decision is very important for me because I wish to spend my whole life with a child Inshallah.

It is permissible to adopt a child without getting married.
